Everyone can stop designing faucets. This is the one. Classy design that beautifully compliments granite and marble. It can be turned on and off, and go from hot to cold with one pinky finger. Sprayer fits the hand and spray controls (which include an off button) are smooth as silk. Top half of faucet swivels 360 degrees. First, let me say that the packaging was impressive. The box was designed for the faucet and the inside of the box included cardboard shaped specifically to hold this faucet. I'm often critical of product packaging, and this was done well enough that I don't have any complaints.The instructions - in English, Spanish, and French - were clear and included step-by-step pictures and word descriptions, which were helpful and easy to follow. I did have my husband's assistance - and he is handy - but I think I could have managed fine through installation on my own. I like the pull-down feature, and this one seems sturdy. (Others I've looked at in stores seemed like the pull-down connection would fail with much use.) Our sink isn't very deep, but this doesn't splash, even at full blast. Whenever plumbing is needed, I begin to shudder. So, immediately after ordering this faucet I started having doubts about how wise it was to begin a plumbing project. Our old kitchen faucet had been repaired many times, and it seemed to never end...the drip drip drip.The instructions for the Kohler Bellera were straightforward, written in legible english, with no "Attach A to B after connecting C to the square opening in the bottom of the basket" that I seem to get with every electronic gimmick I buy. The people that write those instructions have been deliberately instructed to make it impossible to understand. Thanks, Kohler, for simple 1) 2) 3) 4) step instructions that leave no doubt how to install this faucet. It took us less than an hour to remove our old faucet, install the Kohler, turn on the water and find the faucet functioning perfectly with no leaks, no drips, no errors. It is a beautiful, graceful unit and we are so very pleased. |
