We purchased the single hole and purchased a VIGO faucet. Everyone that has come into our new kitchen always comment FIRST about the sink. It really is beautiful. The low profile along with the nice 90 degree cornering gives it the real pop and makes the purchase superior to anything you could purchase at the large home improvement centers. One very important note: it is 16-gauge versus 18-gauge so it is a higher end stainless sink and stronger. No "popping" sounds when you fill it with warm water as you experience with lower quality sinks. We have a chocolate laminate counter top and it is truly eye catching.

Here are the pros: I love the size of this sink. Even the largest pans I own fit flat without a problem. It's large enough to wash in one side and stack clean items on the other side. It's deep enough that dirty dishes can't be seen from across the room. It looks sleek and stylish. We used a laminate countertop due to budget constraints and this sink is a great compromise for those who can't undermount. Down the road, if we switch countertops, this sink can be undermounted. That's a definite plus. Now the cons... It could definitely use an undercoating for sound control. There are a few foam pads adhered to the bottom and sides, but nothing close to adequate. When I poured a large pot of boiling water in it, it flexed and made a thunking sound. Maybe because it's a zero radius, maybe because of the way it's designed, but it doesn't shed water quickly enough to keep itself even remotely clean. If you are rinsing dirty dishes, the bottom of the sink will become coated with food... Read more

We bought this sink because of Kohler's amazing workmanship and the sink's contemporary design to compliment our newly gutted and remodeled kitchen. It is, indeed, a beautiful piece and will be the perfect compliment to the kitchen. The installation presented us with some problems however. After reading all the instructions, arguing a little, consulting with our contractor extensively, we laid out the template and assisted him in the cutting of the hole. A VERY tense moment (wife actually left the room!). It appeared at first that all was good, perfect cut, right on the suggested line for mounting on laminate. Unfortunately the hole turned out to be too big! The contractor had to add shims on two sides to enable him to tighten the sink adequately. So my recommendation would be to cut the hole a little small and then adjust accordingly.
