I've owned this faucet (chrome version) in my home for 4 years and love the look and functionality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to a design defect in the lever handle that requires frequent maintenance. There is a small non-standard bolt that holds the lever arm to the valve assembly and I've found it requires tightening several times a year as the lever starts to wobble around. It's a very easy thing to snap off the top cap and use an Allen Wrench to tighten it, but it is a hassle.

Worse, this same bolt has broken four times on my faucet, requiring replacement. You must contact Moen for a replacement, which takes a week or so. It's necessary to use a reverse-drill bit to remove the remainder of the broken bolt from the valve assembly. If this sounds unreasonable for a faucet that is supposed to last a lifetime, I'd have to agree. As of today, I'm waiting on Moen to send me another bolt that has broken yet again. I bought this faucet in chrome and in antique nickel. Both have been superb and unlike the other guy who reviewed it, I have had no problems with it. The other guy did not install it properly. All you have to do is put a little plumbers tape around the threads and it wont budge. I mean when you are installing a faucet yourself they are assuming you have a basic knowledge of plumbing. I work on cars and use Loctite Blue thread sealer on the bolts on the cars. That is a bit of overkill here as this is a non-moving, non-vibrating part(if yours is vibrating stand underneath the door because your experiencing an earthquake.) This is a high quality product that sells for $440 at Lowe's. Don't let negative reviews change your mind because typically only people that have a problem end up submitting a review.
