I have another one of their pull-out faucets, and have been very pleased with it. This model is even better - lots of little touches that makes it a pleasure to use. The faucet rotates in a wide arc so you can easily swivel it to fill a pot. If, by chance, the pot it too tall, you can use the pull-down nozzle. Like other Kohler faucets, it has a nylon mesh coating so it's very easy to pull out, quiet, and retracts easily and completely. Love that it has a pause button so you can stop the water flow at the pullout head when the pot is filled. Perhaps the best feature is the ease of installation. It took literally just minutes to install it. It uses a novel mounting plate that you just have to hand tighten and then secure with three screws. No more busting your knuckles trying to get a wrench under the sink to tighten the faucet! I installed it in a one-hole... Look closely at the dimensions--it's still good sized. I had mine installed without the base plate and since I'm left-handed, my plumber suggested we turn the handle to face straight forward (rather than on the right side as shown in the pictures). I do wish the sprayer would be a tad easier to pull down and return to position. Pretty sure I'll adjust to that over time while I enjoy this gorgeous and highly functional faucet. |
